Charles Givens, MBA, has accepted the position of Area Practice Manager with HCA Healthcare Physician Services Group in the Gulfport, MS area to include Garden Park Physician Group (GPP) – Orange Grove, GPP - Pediatric Center, Garden Park Specialty Group and Garden Park Internal Medicine.
Charles Givens is a Native of Louisiana. He spent 20 years in the United States Navy in Military Medicine with three combat tours. He has a vast knowledge and love for trauma medicine. The majority of his career was spent as a physician-extender and clinic manager. While serving, he earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Wayland Baptist University, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare administration from St. Leo University.
Charles is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. After retiring from military service and prior to joining HCA, Charles began working for Our Lady of the Angels Hospital as the Family Practice Manager in Bogalusa, LA. Charles is married to his wonderful wife Jackie and enjoys spending time with their five kids.
