Garden Park Medical Center is offering the latest breakthrough in robotic surgery geared toward to helping women across the Mississippi Gulf Coast heal faster, with less scarring. Donielle A. Daigle, MD, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, successfully performed a minimally invasive, single site (single incision) robotic hysterectomy at Garden Park Medical Center, the first on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Garden Park Medical Center Receives Approval To Open Post Traumatic Stress And Substance Abuse Unit For Active Duty Military

Garden Park Medical Center is pleased to announce the implementation of a nine bed Post Traumatic Stress and Substance Abuse Wellness Program for active duty military. The effort has been a three year initiative whereby the Mississippi Department of Health worked alongside Garden Park to change the state health plan which resulted in Garden Park’s ability to obtain a certificate of need for this imperative service line.

General surgeon Dr. Paul Mace has been appointed as the Chief Medical Officer at Garden Park Medical Center, effective March 1, 2014. Mace’s functions will includes administrative liaison to the medical staff and other members of the hospital leadership team. Priority will be given to Quality and Patient Safety, Medical Staff Services and Development, Clinical Service Line Strategy, Utilization Review, Medical Staff Satisfaction/Engagement, and Healthcare Information Technology.
