Garden Park Medical Center is celebrating National Hospital Week by hosting numerous events to show appreciation for the staff each day. Ice cream socials, massage sessions, free lunch distribution are a few of the planned activities. “We could not maintain our reputation for compassionate and quality care without the hard work and dedication of our nurses and staff, “ says Brenda Waltz, CEO Garden Park Medical Center. “The small tokens of appreciation that we provide during this week only scratch the surface of the type of recognition our more than 500 employees deserve.”
Garden Park will also host an Employee Appreciation Dinner at the Great Southern Club, Friday, May 13, 2016 beginning at 6:00pm. The ceremony will include employees that have received Garden Park’s Spirit of Excellence award that have demonstrated outstanding clinical service or exceptional customer service or patient care. Garden Park’s Director of the Year and Team of the Year will be announced.
