S.T.A.R. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The S.T.A.R. PHP clinic provides alternative care as an outpatient to individuals who urgently need daily treatment without the need for 24 hour care. The PHP can ease the transition from acute inpatient care to home or family. The program will offer access to a safe, structured treatment environment, and is designed to assist in restoring individuals to their highest possible level of functioning, and to help them learn to live more satisfying lives. Our STAR PHP clinic will admit active duty, veterans, first responders, or their dependents, with the appropriate provider referral. Most patients are admitted for treatment of the following: mood disorders, anxiety, chronic suicidal tendencies, personality disorders or issues pertaining to family and interpersonal conflicts.

The primary method of treatment consists of process-oriented and educational group therapy sessions which allows in-depth analysis of specific issues while providing the opportunity to find support from other individuals facing similar challenges. Our staff of mental health specialists will utilize a variety of treatment models. While each day will be spent primarily in group therapy, individual and family therapy sessions facilitated by our professional staff are also key components of our program.
