Thank you for caring!

Here’s how you can continue to help our caregivers and community.

At Garden Park Medical Center, we care like family. We support each other, our patients and our community. And we know many of you want to help and support our colleagues, facilities and communities with the COVID-19 response.

We are taking proactive measures to help ensure the health and safety of patients, caregivers, colleagues and our communities. At this time, the best way to safely support those working on the front lines is to:

Keep Yourself and Others Healthy

Stay home whenever possible, wash your hands often and practice social distancing by staying at least six feet away from others. Follow these and all of the guidelines set forth by local, state and federal public health officials including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as we work to slow the spread of the virus.

Give Blood

If you are interested in helping our community in others ways, we urge you to consider making a blood donation through The Blood Center, as our nation’s blood supplies are critically low.

Financial Support

If you are able and would like to help our community during this time, please consider making a financial contribution directly to your favorite non-profit organization or to one of our community’s COVID-19 response funds that will help numerous non-profits support those in need.

Donations can also be made to the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund, which provides compassion and assistance to our colleagues and their families in times of need.

PPE Product Donations

Garden Park Medical Center truly appreciates the generous outpouring of support we are receiving from the communities we serve. Please see what personal protective equipment needs we have and how you can help here.

Donate Food

Thank you for your interest in donating food for our hardworking team members. We are so grateful for your support!

We are following these food safety precautions and ask that all donors comply with these guidelines:

  • We cannot accept homemade food
  • All food must be individually wrapped and prepared in a commercial kitchen.
  • There must be a list of ingredients, so those with food allergies know what is safe to consume.

Please note that donations to Garden Park Medical Center and/or any of our facilities are not tax-deductible and receipts will not be given.

We would appreciate the chance to gather some information from you that will make the process easy for you and for us. So, thanks for taking a moment to fill this out and share your information with us at least 72 hours in advance of the donation delivery.

After you complete the form, you will receive an email or text from the individual assigned as your point person with details about the delivery. Generally, as we respond to COVID-19, we are meeting the delivery driver outside the of the hospital to accept the donation. Our goal will be to snap a few photos of the delivery/staff enjoying the donation and post them on our hospital Facebook page, acknowledging your generous gift. If you do not hear back from us in 48 hours, please contact Suzann Barhanovich at [email protected]. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Notes to Caregivers

If you or your child would like to send a message of thanks and encouragement or draw a picture for our physicians, nurses and caregivers, we would love to hear from you! Please take a photo of your note or artwork and email it to us. Thanks, in advance, for showing your support to these heroes who are doing what they do best – caring like family!
