Health and Welfare

Full-time and part-time employees are eligible for benefits in less than 90 days after hire.  When it comes to your insurance needs, we know that each one of you has unique situations, which is why we offer a variety of healthcare plans.

Medical
The multiple medical options allow you to focus on your unique healthcare needs.  You choose the coverage most appropriate for your situation.  The plans vary from an economic plan designed for emergency healthcare situations to a more comprehensive plan designed to limit your out-of-pocket expenses for all your healthcare needs. 

Prescription Drugs
All levels of the medical insurance plans include prescription coverage. Deductibles and copays depend on your level of coverage, as well as type of prescription (name brand, generic, mail order, etc.). 

Dental
Good dental health affects more than the way you look. It affects the way you feel and your overall health. Our plan makes it easy for you to afford preventive care such as checkups and cleanings. It also provides benefits to help you pay for other expenses such as fillings, dentures or orthodontia.

Vision
The Vision Plan covers expenses for regular eye exams, lenses, frames and contacts.  When you use a network provider, you pay a copay or receive an allowance for most covered services and materials.  You can also use a non-network provider but at a reduced benefit.

Life Insurance
Life Insurance coverage is offered to help provide financial security for you and your family in case of death. If you are a full-time employee, your facility provides Basic Term Life coverage at 1 times your annual salary at no cost to you. You may also elect Supplemental Life Term life for 1-5x your annual salary.

Long-Term Disability
A disability can affect much more than your health. It can change practically every part of your life — including your personal finances. You can purchase Long Term Disability (LTD) coverage to replace part of your income if a serious accident or illness leaves you unable to work.  

Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to set aside money from each paycheck — before most taxes are deducted — to reimburse yourself for eligible healthcare and day care expenses.  You save money because the taxable portion of your income is reduced.  We offer 2 types of FSAs: 

  • Health Care FSA
  • Day Care FSA

Core Plus Benefits
Additional voluntary benefits, called Core Plus, are available including short-term disability supplemental policies, legal assistance and long-term care.
