Community Involvement

Garden Park takes great pride in supporting the Mississippi Gulf Coast through various events and education at the hospital and in the community.

Community Activities – Always active in the community, Garden Park sponsors multiple programs to provide support and education for our neighbors  Activities include a monthly seniors program, support groups, childbirth classes, a quarterly AARP seniors driving class and more.

Fundraising - Garden Park is a proud sponsor of the United Way of South Mississippi and the hospital also takes part in many fundraising activities throughout the year for groups including the March of Dimes, American Heart Association, and the United Way.  Employees also participate in community service activities such as the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign, food drives and local angel tree programs during the holiday season.  

Community Health Fairs – To promote and influence better health in the community, our nursing staff provides health screenings to various community health fairs.  Also, three times a year, Garden Park promotes blood donation by hosting American Red Cross blood drives.
